'Cats Strong in Spring Jamboree
It was a night of football in Lake Butler and the Bobcats gave the fans what they came for. Playing GHS in the JV first quarter, BHS scored on the first play from scrimmage and held on, winning 14-7. That momentum then carried over into the varsity quarter against GHS, in which the Buchholz defense played very aggressively, swarming the Hurricane ball carriers and harrassing the GHS quarterback in a 7-0 win. The true test of the night came against the home team, Union County. The game went back and forth the entire half. The BHS offense ran smoothly and the defense contained the Tigers' highly touted running back C.J. Spiller. Union County came out victorious, however, on a late two point conversion, winning 22-21.
2005 Spring Football
Buchholz Spring Football practice begins Monday, May 2nd. Practices will run Monday through Saturday the first two weeks and then Monday through Wednesday the third week. This year's Spring Game will be against Union County on Thursday, May 19th at Lake Butler.

New District for 'Cats in '05
Buchholz has moved to District 1-5A and will now play Niceville (8-3 in 2004) in addition to archrival GHS (6-4) for the district title.
